A pair of Great Horned Owl owlets become more alert as evening arrives. This pair of owlets was well-hidden in the eucalyptus trees which provide great protection from crows and raptors in the area.

A large flock of Snow Geese were startled by a hawk. They all took off and started flying west toward the sunset.
