One Acorn Woodpecker climbs on a dead tree that hosts many acorns while another Acorn Woodpecker takes flight from the top of the tree.
Acorn Woodpeckers were very busy today, flying around and looking for food, and this tree hosted several at a time. Here, there are four Acorn Woodpeckers, three on the top of the tree and one on the right side.
Snowy Egrets are a common sight at Natural Bridges State Beach. Early morning and late in the day, you can observe many Snowy Egrets searching for a dinner of sand crabs along the beach.
